Roger is a 1972 graduate of the University of Illinois with a major in Finance and Minors in Accounting and Marketing. He started his own insurance agency in 1973, marketing Life, Health, Dental, Vision and Retirement-Tax Savings programs. He specialized in developing and implementing employee benefit programs for sole proprietors, partnerships and corporations. In addition, in 1973 he attained the designation of Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow.
Currently Roger is the owner of McCumber Insurance Services, an independent insurance agency, specializing in Individual and Group Life, Medical, Health Savings Accounts, Health Reimbursement Accounts, Dental, Long Term and Short Term Disability, Vision, Supplemental Insurance programs, IRS Section 125 Pre-Tax Cafeteria programs, Worker’s Compensation and Retirement-Tax Savings programs.
Roger is a member of NAHU, National Association of Health Underwriters as well as the State of California and the Kern Association of Health Underwriters. He is also a member of the Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce.

Lavonne has been in the insurance industry since 1991. She is responsible for the general operation of the agency. In addition she oversees the open enrollments of new and renewing business and all carrier and client communications. In addition, Lavonne specializes in the custom designing of the benefit programs unique to each clients needs.
